2009 Paso Fino Calendar Contest
The first MontePasoFino.com Calendar Contest is under way. The contest will run from March 2007 to September 30, 2008.
Entries are to consist of photographs taken of registered Paso Fino horses. There will be (12) first place winners and (48) honorable mentions selected in November 2008 from among all of the participant’s photographs submitted and registered specifically for the MontePasoFino.com Calendar Contest.
You Judge the Calendar Contest!
Winners will be determined by the ratings and number of votes you and your friends give the photographs. Rate the photographs from 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Each Rate counts as a vote for the photograph, so in the event of a tie in Ratings, the photograph with the least number of votes would win since this would indicate higer ratings per vote. The winning photographs will appear in the MontePasoFino 2009 Calendar, which will be available in November 2008. A free calendar will be awarded to those (12) photographers whose images are chosen as first place winners.
Photograph Submission Requirements
A release will be required by each participating contestant to MontePasoFino.com
for royalty-free and non-exclusive right to use registered photographs
for purposes of promoting Paso Fino's on calendars, our website, brochures,
and for other marketing and advertising purposes. The release is submitted
when you sign up on the Photo Gallery by Accepting the Terms of Registration.

Q: May someone outside the US enter the calendar contest?
A: Yes! Everyone is eligable to enter the contest.
Q: Is there a fee for participating in the calendar contest?
A: No. The calendar contest is free for all interested photographers.
Q: How many entries may I submit?
A: Contestants may submit one photograph per Registered Paso Fino horse.
Q: Do I have to own the Paso Fino whose photograph is being submitted?
A: No, but you must be able to prove the photograph is of a registered
Paso Fino by providing the Registration Number and Registered Name. Also,
since there is only one entry per registered horse, if the owner of the
horse submits an entry then the non-owner's entry will be removed.
Q: What months will be in the calendar?
A: The calendar will contain twelve months of Paso Fino enjoyment from
January 2009 through December 2009.
Q: Where is the release form?
A: Click the Enter Contest button above, select Register from the left
navigation menu. The Terms of Registration is the release form.
Q: Will there be any advertising in the calendar?
A: There are a few opportunities for advertising in the back pages of
the calendar where the Honorable Mention photographs will be published.
